Monday...so far it's a bust!

My alarm woke me at 5:55am so I could get a quick shower before leaving to pick up Mike for work.
  He was a little slow to come down to the van, and didn't seem his usual chipper self. I know that he made a lot of bad decisions in his younger days and now he has to live the way he does because of them, but as his Mother I feel so bad for him and wish I could help him more.
  His head still hurts from the fall off a ladder last weekend and to add to it he has a wisdom tooth pushing thru that is putting pressure on his jaw. His employment does not have health insurance and just like many of us that do have insurance he is afraid of the cost if he goes to a doctor or a dentist...
So I dropped him off on time at work and started home...I got to PV Mall and did not give into my desire to stop at Krispy Kremes and then got a text from Mike that he had a seizure and almost passed out and his boss was sending him home. I turned the van around and headed back to Scottsdale to pick him up. He said he wanted to go home and rest and then Cat wants to take him to a Hospital...but I will believe it when it happens. He didn't tell Cat about hitting his head and last week when he was babbling strange words and didn't remember doing it she gave him a drug test at home. He passed the test and then had to tell her about the fall off the ladder...while working for her Uncle last weekend.
  To make a long story short...and it's way to late for that...I came home and took a nap. Sam and Mel are coming over later to help me put Christmas away and set up my PC...which never got put together after the move into the spare room.
 Hopefully tomorrow will be better...

Vacation Days

Well, Things are going well on my Vacation. Friday and Saturday were just normal days off for last week, so the true test of the Vacation will start tomorrow.
 I am starting the day early by taking Mike to work. I volenteered because I found out tonight that he hit his head last week and has a concussion. It's hard to get information out of him by phone and text, so I thought a long ride in the car with me would give me time to get more information...of course, he has no insurance , so I worry that he will never get it checked out.
  Today I managed to finally take down Christmas...and tomorrow I will get it put away. I will miss it already :(
  I cleaned the carpet today and all my dishes are washed so I won't feel too bad about taking a nap tomorrow after getting up so early to take Mike to work...
  My dad has been having dizzy spells lately so I will be checking in on him, and hopefully I will be able to skype with my Sister, Char and Joan...Char just texted me that her Grandbaby's due date is my Birthday, August 21st! 
Off to bed now so I can get up in 6 hours:)

GOT MY CHAIR!

I didn't feel good enough thru the day to work...fever came later.

I finally forced myself to shower and get dressed so I could go pick up my chair at OfficeMax. I bought it last night with funds that my dad gave me to make my Work at Home better and Office Max was assembling for me today. They put the chair (and the mat I bought with it) in the van for me, but I was only able to roll the chair in tonight...which wasn't easy to do while pushing a walker at the same time.
  I hope this chair will help, because my other chair had me in so much pain at the end of the day. It is so comfortable!
I'll get a picture later...I need to get some more rest now!

Feeling Sick Today:(

I'm not sure who is reading my blog...Maybe just you Joan, but I have had a rough morning with my tummy not keeping things down in it...I'm trying not to be too discriptive.
 Having chills right now, dizzy, but afraid to lay down...No fever so far, so that may rule out a flu.
  I'm not checking into work right now, but hope to feel good enough by noon.
